Justin Timberlake’s “Forget Tomorrow World Tour” wrapped up on July 30 in Istanbul, Turkey, and he is celebrating by taking some R&R.
In an Instagram Story shared on August 4, Timberlake posed wearing a gray sweatshirt that stated, “I’m not doing [expletive] today,” followed by three green checked boxes.
In the pic, the “Cry Me a River” singer is holding up two peace signs and playfully sticking his tongue out.
The previous IG Story showed a repost of Timberlake’s wife, Jessica Biel, sharing a group shot of the singer and his crew standing in front of a plane. “So happy they’re home!” the “Summer Catch” star wrote.
Timberlake is Taking It Easy After Lyme Disease Diagnosis
Timberlake’s post comes after he revealed his Lyme disease diagnosis on July 31, the day after his tour ended.
After reflecting on his long career, the N’SYNC member wrote on Instagram, “As many of you know, Iโm a pretty private person. But as Iโm reflecting on the tour and festival tour — I wantย to tell you a little bit about whatโs going on with me.”
He continued, “Among other things, Iโve been battling some health issues, and was diagnosed with Lyme disease — which I donโt say so you feel bad for me — but to shed some light on what Iโve been upย against behind the scenes.”
“If youโve experienced this disease or know someone who has — then youโre aware: living with this can be relentlessly debilitating, both mentally and physically. When I first got the diagnosis I was shocked for sure. But, at least I could understand why I would be onstage and in a massive amount of nerve pain or, just feeling crazy fatigue or sickness,” Timberlake told fans.
“I was faced with a personal decision. Stop touring? Or, keep going and figure it out. I decided the joy that performing brings me far outweighs the fleeting stress my body wasย feeling. Iโm so glad I kept going,” he wrote.
Timberlake Previously Helped Out a Lyme Disease Foundation
GettyA decade before his Lyme disease diagnosis, Timberlake was part of the No Limes Needed campaign with Sauza 901 Tequila, with all of the profits going to the non-profit research organization for Lyme disease research, ILADEF, per Chilled.
In the ad shared on Facebook, Timberlake plays a man with a lime head named Rick “Sour” Vane, who feels dejected after tequila imbibers no longer need limes to drink the liquor.
“It’s just that smooth,” was the campaign logo for Sauza 901, which also had t-shirts for sale.
