Meghan Markle is counting down the days until the debut of her new Netflix lifestyle show, “With Love, Meghan.” And she’s giving fans a sneak peek at what to expect.
The Duchess of Sussex posted a behind-the-scenes video on her new Instagram account. She captioned the clip, “Celebrating the crew and everyone who helped make this happen! The countdown begins”
The video shows a brief cameo of husband, Prince Harry, as the pair walk out the back door.
It also shows a clip of Meghan’s beloved beagle Guy, who passed away in January. The duchess posted a touching tribute to the 15-year-old rescue dog on Instagram. She wrote, “Because many of you will now see Guy in this new series, I hope youโll come to understand why I am so devastated by his loss. I think you may fall a little bit in love too.”
Meghan Markle Also Re-Brands Lifestyle Website
The 43-year-old returned to Instagram last month with a new account @meghan,ย after a five-year hiatus. That timing lines up with not only her new Netflix series, but the rebranding of her lifestyle website. Formerly known as “American Riviera Orchard,” Meghan rechristened the website “As Ever.”
In aย postย about the switch, Meghan Markle explains, โLast year, I had thought, โAmerican Riviera, that sounds like such a great name.โ Itโs my neighborhood. Itโs a nickname for Santa Barbara. But it limited me to things that were just manufactured and grown in this area,. Then Netflix came on, not just as my partner in the show, but as my partner in my business. Which was huge. So I thought about it. And Iโve been waiting for a moment to share a name that I had secured in 2022. And this is the moment, and itโs called As Ever.โ
She goes on to say, “โAs Ever essentially means as itโs always been. And if youโve followed me since 2014 with The Tig, you know Iโve always loved cooking and crafting and gardening. This is what I do. And I havenโt been able to share it with you in the same way for the past few years. But now I can, so as things are starting to trickle out there, I wanted you to hear it from me first.โ
‘With Love, Meghan’ Debuts March 4
“With Love, Meghan” debuts on Netflix March 4. In a press release, Netflix describes the show as “blending practical how-toโs and candid conversation with friends, new and old. Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”
The former “Suits” star will be joined byย some of her famous friends,ย includingย her former โSuitsโ co-star Abigail Spencer, Mindy Kaling,ย and Tatcha skin care line founder Vicky Tsai.
In the premiere episode, Meghan teams up with chef Roy Choi, “The Chef Show” star and creator of the gourmet Korean Mexican taco truck “Kogi.” Choi will soon release “The Choi of Cooking: Flavor-Packed, Rule-Breaking Recipes for a Delicious Life: A Cookbook.” The pair reminisce about growing up in LA while they make Korean fried chicken.
