Hallmark alum Ryan Paevey just wrapped up a successful get-together with fans, and now he’s joining other Hallmark stars at a Christmas in July event in Georgia. While answering questions on Instagram on April 17, Paevey shared a message that gave a glimmer of hope to fans who want to see him return to Hallmark.
Paevey Said He’d ‘Love’ to Do a Film with Hallmark Again One Day
Paevey, Arielle Kebbel, and Chad Michael Murray are meeting fans at an event celebrating holiday movies called “Christmas in a Small Town” in Dahlonega, Georgia, in late July.
Paevey posted about the event on Instagram, writing: “Cue the snowflakes and summer sunshine, because Christmas in a Small Town is bringing the holiday magic toย @cityofdahlonegaย this July withย @decadedayz! … Donโt miss your chance to meet these stars and celebrate a little Christmas in July. Tickets are on sale now at christmasinasmalltown.com!”
A fan responded to his post, writing: “Ryan, please tell us this means youโre coming back to Hallmark. We miss you so much.”
Paevey replied, “thatโs a question for them, haha. Iโm gonna see if i can find a friendly face there to have a conversation withโฆ.who knows, worth a shot. ๐ค๐ฝ”
Another fan asked the same thing, writing, “Thatโs awesome. Are you saying that you’re going back to Hallmark or are you just taking it slow for now?”
Paevey answered, “thatโs not my call to make. Iโd love to do a film now and again, if theyโd be keen.”
Fans replied that they would love to see him back on Hallmark. One person wrote, “Your films are an inspiration in this world.”
Paevey did clarify in another comment that the event he’s attending is not connected to Hallmark.
He wrote: “this is a meet and greetโฆnothing to do with the network, sadly. But the event should be a good time,” he wrote.
Paevey Hosted a Meet & Greet for Fans in California
Earlier in April, Paevey hosted a meet-and-greet for fans in La Jolla, California called “The IOU Tour with Ryan & Toshi.” The event took place at Shiku Sushi in La Jolla.
Paevey shared on Instagram that the event was a success, and he also took the group to his favorite dive bar and they “caught a sunset over the Pacific…and an earthquake!”
One fan replied, “Ryan and Toshi Iโm still on cloud 9 and la la land. I had had a BLAST this weekend than you for an extra value experience ๐ ๐ ๐ @shikusushilajollaย is my FAVE restaurant in San Diego went back last night for supper. You guys got me hooked on sake and shrimp tempura rolls ๐.”
Back in December, Paevey issued an exclusive statement to Heavy (now EntertainmentNOW) explaining that he was stepping back from acting, in part so he could support his mother through a difficult diagnosis.
