Actress Jennifer Garner is embracing summer with a dramatically different sunny new look!
The usually brunette actress has gone blond!
Celebrity colorist Tracey Cunningham unveiled Jen’s transformation on her Instagram account, explaining exactly how she took the “The Last Thing He Told Me Actress” from dark to light.
The video shows the coloring process, starting with a picture of the end result- a much blonder Jennifer Garner. In the caption, Cunningham writes, “✨ Lightened up this beauty’s hair for her latest role—and she’s glowing. Jennifer’s just wrapped The Last Thing He Told Me (yes, Paris 💫), and is already diving into The Five-Star Weekend—a dreamy Nantucket story coming soon to Peacock.

Cunningham does no gate-keeping, captioning the video with every product she used and how long she left them on Jen’s hair.
Jennifer Garner Wraps Season Two of ‘The Last Thing He Told Me’
As her hairdresser mentioned in her post, Jennifer Garner just wrapped filming on season two of “The Last Thing He Told Me.”
Much of the season was shot in Paris.
Season two also teamed Jen up with her old friend and “13 Going On 30” co-star Judy Greer, who has a recurring role in the upcoming season.
Jen posted a carousel of pictures of the pair enjoying Paris on Instagram with the caption, “JG & JG take Paris. ♥️”
Pictures showed the two sight-seeing at the Eiffel Tower, eating French pastries and even hitting a Parisian shopping mall.
Celebrity friends were quick to comment on the reunion.
Celebrity chef and dear friend of Garner Ina Garten commented, “How could you be there without me?!!! Love Poilâne and Merci! ❤️❤️”
Kimberly Williams Paisley wrote, “Oh how funnnnnnn❤️” and Rita Wilson echoed that sentiment with, “What fun!!!!!!!!”
Reese Witherspoon’s Hello Sunshine (which produces “The Last Thing He Told Me”) commented, “Obsessed with this duo! 💛☀️🙌” while Kerry Washington just posted “😍😍”
Season Two of Series Will Be Based on Not-Yet-Published Novel
The first season of “The Last Thing He Told Me” was based on Laura Dave’s 2021 bestseller of the same name.
It follows Hannah (Jennifer Garner), who plays a woodturner and happy newlywed. She’s trying to navigate a tricky relationship with her 16-year-old stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice.) After her husband Owen (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) disappears, the pair team up to unravel the mystery of why he vanished.
Season two is based on the sequel to that novel, which author Laura Dave’s was literally writing while the season was shot. She just released an excerpt of that sequel, titled “The First Time I Saw Him,” to People Magazine.
The book drops January 6. No release date for season two of the series has been announced yet.
