The “Game of Thrones” alum, 29, recently clapped back at a social media commenter who suggested she had “forgotten” about her daughters, Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, while attending an Oasis concert at London’s Wembley Stadium with friends.

Turner shared a series of photos from the August 4 event on Instagram with the caption, “Bucket hats & beers … That’ll do me. Thank you @levis.” While many followers praised the post, one user wrote, “Lmfao I think she has forgotten that she has two kids.”

The actress wasted no time setting the record straight. “Ah I’m so sorry sometimes I forget some people can’t think for themselves,” she replied. “So … Get this … There’s this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.”

Turner shares her daughters with ex-husband Joe Jonas, to whom she was married from 2019 to 2024.

The exchange was reposted by the popular celebrity comment account @commentsbycelebs, along with a bullseye emoji. Fans quickly flooded the comments in support of Turner and called out the unequal standards placed on mothers versus fathers. “Imagine thinking a mom can’t go out and have fun,” one person wrote, while another added, “No one ever asks a dad where their kids are. 🙄”

Co-Parenting Success and Mutual Respect

The “X-Men: Dark Phoenix” star has been open about navigating motherhood under public scrutiny. In a 2024 interview with British Vogue, she addressed false partying allegations following her split from Jonas, calling the experience “the worst few days of [her] life” and emphasizing, “I’m a good mum and have never been a partier.”

Today, Turner and Jonas maintain an amicable co-parenting relationship. Jonas publicly praised Turner during an appearance on the “On Purpose” podcast in May, saying, “Having an incredible mom, Sophie, for those girls is like a dream come true. As young girls, looking up to great women is what I want for them.”

While their divorce proceedings in 2023 were initially tense, the two ultimately reached a settlement in September 2024.

Turner has since expressed her focus on ensuring their daughters’ well-being, telling British Vogue, “They’re the victims in all of this. But I think we’re doing the best we can. Joe is a great father to our children and that’s all that I can ask for.”
