The trailer for the sixth season of “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” is set to drop on August 14, but fans got a first look at a potential theme for the new season.
On August 13, Bravo released a teaser for the new trailer that gave hope that things could be thawing out among the icy Utah friend group.
The cast of RHOSLC season 6 includes Heather Gay, Meredith Marks, Lisa Barlow, Whitney Rose, Angie Katsanevas, Mary Cosby, Bronwyn Newport, and Britani Bateman. The teaser didn’t feature any of the RHOSLC stars, so that could also mean the peaceful clip is the calm before the storm.

In the clip posted to Bravo’s Instagram page, a camera panned the snowy mountains of Utah. But amid the cold, signs of spring emerged as purple lower buds began to poke through the snow. The buds then opened up into beautiful blooms.
“A new season is thawing. The #RHOSLC trailer drops TOMORROW!” came the caption.
Fans reacted in the comment section to the call the RHOSLC trailer news “Christmas in August.”
“Only RHOSLC deserves a trailer before the trailer! Love it! Can’t wait!” one fan wrote.
“A Taylor Swift announcement and a Salt Lake trailer in the same week. Life is good 🙌,” another added.
One RHOSLC Star Said Fans Should ‘Expect the Unexpected’
While spring is in the air in the teaser, several RHOSLC stars have hinted that things remained frosty with certain women.
Speaking with Us Weekly, cast member Lisa Barlow said “there’s a lot of lies this season.” “There’s lies and then, like a lot of turning nothings into somethings to create problems and like the motive, you know, there’s got to be one attention and jealousy,” Barlow added of the drummed-up drama.
Merdith Marks was asked who she trusted the most this season, and she said Barlow. As for who she trusted the least, she said, “The duo, it’s a tie,” without naming who she was talking about.
As for Bateman, she said fans should “expect the unexpected” this season. “Because honestly, like we found ourselves in situations that I wouldn’t have dreamed in like a fever dream,” she added. “Next season’s crazy, you know.”
On another note, a previous first look clip featured Meredith Marks and Mary Cosby fishing in icy waters. Didn’t see that one coming.
