Meghan Markle is once again opening up her Montecito home—and her heart—in the brand-new season of her Netflix series “With Love, Meghan.” The Duchess of Sussex, 44, uses the cooking-and-entertaining show to welcome famous friends like Chrissy Teigen and Tan France, but it’s her candid personal confessions that have viewers buzzing. From sweet moments about Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet to surprising details about her relationship with Prince Harry, Meghan is giving fans more insight into her life than ever before.
Meghan Markle on Parenting Archie and Lilibet
Family life is at the center of season 2. In one of the most emotional moments of season 2, Meghan admitted that being away from her children was one of the hardest challenges she has faced as a mom.
Chatting with her guest, “Queer Eye” star Tan France, she revealed, “The longest I went without being around our kids was almost three weeks. I was… not well.” While Meghan didn’t say when the separation happened, many believe she was referring to her time in the UK for Queen Elizabeth II’s funeral in 2022.
Meghan also shared lighter moments of life with her kids. She laughed as she admitted Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, are campaigning for a cat—even though the Sussex household already has two dogs. “My kids really want a cat… really want a cat,” she said.
When it comes to breakfast at their Montecito home, Meghan said she makes “surprise pancakes” with hidden healthy ingredients. “I always put some ground flax seeds or some chia seeds in,” she told France. To her amusement, it’s Lilibet who often requests the chia seeds—an unexpected ask for a four-year-old.

Prince Harry may not appear in season 2, but his presence is still felt. Meghan revealed to France that she knew she loved Harry by their third date, which included a camping trip in Botswana. She blushed as she recalled that Harry was the first to say, “I love you.”
The duchess also shared details from her pregnancies, revealing that she consulted with an Ayurvedic doctor who told her to eat “so many” dates for strength and energy.
And while her California lifestyle is very different now, Meghan admitted she misses parts of the UK—particularly Magic FM, the radio station she listened to while living there. “One of the things I miss the most about the UK is the radio station called… Magic,” she confessed. France teased her response, joking, “Magic FM?! That’s such a grandma station,” which had Meghan laughing.
Meghan’s evolving style also caught attention this season. California stylist Cynthia Kennedy told the Daily Mail: “Her revamped style is sending everyone a message that [says], ‘I don’t have to dress like a duchess anymore — I get to dress like myself, and be more approachable, modern, authentic and real.’”
