Port Charles has been turned upside down over the last few weeks. News of Monica’s death is spreading, as the PCPD continues to interview suspects in Drew’s shooting. First, Britt returned from the dead, and now it looks like her brother, Nathan, is also alive and lying in a hospital bed.
Here is a full recap for the Tuesday, Sept. 23, 2025, episode of “General Hospital.”
Britt Puts Her Foot in Her Mouth
ABCBritt is getting ready for her first day back to work at GH when Jason knocks on the door. She had asked Carly to have someone fix the window, and figures that’s why Jason is there. Britt gives him the typical hard time, laced with sarcastic remarks, until he tells her that he stopped by to get something. Jason walks over to the closet and takes out his suit.
Britt makes a few funeral cracks before Jason finally tells her that his mother has died. Britt apologizes for being as inappropriate as ever and then reviews the timeline. She realizes that if she hadn’t called Jason back to the resort, then he would have made it home to spend Monica’s day with her. Jason tells Britt that he was exactly where he was supposed to be, and then he leaves.
Felicia and Nina See Nathan
ABCStella is finally back on the job at GH. She sees Martin, and after they speak, she realizes that he made a deal with the devil, or Drew, to help ensure her freedom. He thinks it was a small price to pay to see her out of jail. Stella then has a serious talk with Felicia. At first, they joke around, and Felicia reminds her always to have her passport ready in case they need to avoid extradition laws. Things quickly turn serious when Maxie comes up.
Felicia says that Maxie’s condition hasn’t changed, and Stella suggests that she take some time off to deal with the grief surrounding her daughter. Felicia gets up to go in and see a new patient, a John Doe that has just arrived. Once she sees the man, she freezes and drops her folder, which is full of papers. It looks like her deceased son-in-law, Nathan. Anna sees Felicia and slowly takes her out of the room.
Anna has already spoken to Nina and informed her that a man has arrived at GH with the DNA and fingerprints of James Nathan West. Nina didn’t believe it at first, but then both women agreed that nothing is impossible when Faison is involved. Nina now sees Felicia with Anna and creeps to the window to take a peek at her brother. She enters the room, and Nathan opens her eyes as she holds his hand.
Curtis Is Caught and Grilled
ABCThe Ashfords are all together, and that includes Marshall, who is off the road for a bit. He is thrilled to see the family and happy that Stella is free. Marshall is concerned about Congressman Cutthroat’s shooting and the possibility that Curtis could be a suspect. Curtis doesn’t want to discuss things in front of Trina, but she insists on knowing everything. As the family talks, Dante arrives to go over the night that Drew was shot.
Curtis answers the questions that he has in front of the whole family. He says that he paid Stella’s bail, got gas, stopped at the Savoy, and then met Jordan for a drink. Portia seethes at that last part, and Dante points out that Curtis doesn’t have an alibi for when Drew was shot. After Dante leaves, Curtis has to deal with the wrath of Portia, who is now certain that their marriage is over.
Back in Drew’s hospital room at GH, Jordan stops by to try to talk sense into him, but it’s impossible. She is furious with his abuse of power to try to get back at Curtis, and Drew insists that everyone messed with him first. He claims that he was a victim before playing dirty. She points out that this is when he can decide to change and be a better example for his daughter.
Drew isn’t interested, and the death of Monica has only made him angrier. He wants revenge on the whole family that convinced Monica to ban him from the property. He continues his tirade when Martin walks in. Martin is only there for a check and suggests that Drew find a good therapist.
Tracy Is Missing
ABCLulu arrives at the Qs, and Brook Lynn runs upstairs to find Tracy. Lulu joins Michael and Ned in the living room as BLQ returns to say that Tracy is missing. Her bed hasn’t been slept in, and her overnight bag is missing. Meanwhile, Michael had left to check the stables. He returns and says that not only is Tracy not on the property, but her car is gone.
They are especially worried after Ned says that he believes his mother is in a very fragile state because Monica’s death has hit her harder than anticipated. They agree that they must find Tracy.
