Ree Drummond Fans May Be Surprised at How Much ‘The Pioneer Woman’s’ Beloved Ranch Is Worth

Ree Drummond has turned her family’s sprawling Oklahoma ranch into a household name. From the backdrop of her Food Network hit “The Pioneer Woman” to her new series “Drummond Ranch,” the property is as much a star as Ree herself. But the ranch’s true scale, history, and value might shock even her most loyal viewers.

Inside Ree Drummond’s Iconic Oklahoma Ranch

Although Ree is the face of the ranch, the land belongs to her husband, Ladd Drummond’s family, spanning five generations in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. The property is home to Drummond Land & Cattle Co., which Ladd and his brother Tim oversee, as well as extended family members. It even features a small cemetery where generations of Drummonds have been laid to rest.

The ranch also serves as the backdrop for Ree’s new YouTube series “Drummond Ranch,” which highlights the day-to-day operations of ranch life. “We have always wanted to show more ranching and agricultural moments in my cooking show, but because it’s a cooking show (obviously!), we were always limited in the amount of time we could spend on the non-food component,” Ree wrote on her website in June.

“You’ll see cowboys, weather, the dynamic between Ladd and his brother Tim, and you’ll hear about the different kinds of cattle operations, markets and what it’s like in a family where all the kids are growing up and trying to figure out what role they will play in the ranch’s future.”

This behind-the-scenes look gives fans a richer picture of Ree’s life outside the kitchen—and the massive property she calls home.

How Much the Drummond Ranch Is Really Worth

The Drummond ranch isn’t just picturesque; it’s a financial powerhouse. The property is estimated to make $2 million annually and is valued at approximately $200 million, according to Yahoo. Along with the ranch itself, Ree also uses “The Lodge”—an 18-mile drive from town on an unpaved road—for family dinners and filming “The Pioneer Woman.”

“The Lodge is 18 miles out of town on an unpaved road. I thought somebody would get a flat tire,” Ree shared on her website. “But Ladd pointed out that people are coming all the way to Pawhuska to visit our store and restaurant. He wanted to expand their experience.”

Although many fans assume The Lodge is her personal home, Ree clarified: “I decided to do it there because I often used The Lodge kitchen for events and gatherings… and because my house was full of kids at the time!” The Lodge is open for free public tours, making it a must-visit for any Pioneer Woman fan traveling to Pawhuska.

Fans can catch Ree Drummond in “The Pioneer Woman” on Food Network. Episodes are also available to stream on HBO Max.
