‘AGT’ Season 20 Quarterfinals Week 1 Acts
Coming up, we have the first live show of “AGT” 2025 set to air on Tuesday, August 19, at 8/7c on NBC. In this episode, we will see the first 11 acts take the stage.
All of them are hoping to win over America and get them to vote them into the semifinals. Or they can get one of the four Golden Buzzers available from the “AGT” judges — Simon Cowell, Howie Mandel, Sofia Vergara, and Melanie “Mel B” Brown — in the Quarterfinals. 1. Steve Ray Ladson
Trae Patton/NBCThis bluegrass singer sang an original song during his audition, and it wowed the judges to ear four yes votes. Now he’s back for week 1 of the Quarterfinals.
2. B Unique Crew
Trae Patton/NBCWhile Howie Mandel wanted to give this dance crew from India a Golden Buzzer he didn’t have available, the group settled for four yes votes. Maybe they can get a Golden Buzzer this round?
3. Loco Pop Familia
Mel B was not a fan of this Japanese dance group after they performed to “Dubidubidu” by Christell for their audition. The other judges enjoyed the performance and sent them to the Quarterfinals.
4. CitiLimitz
Trae Patton/NBCWhile Mel B wasn’t impressed by Loco Pop Familia, she was impressed by R&B trio CitiLimitz. They sang “All My Life” by K-Ci and Jojo, and earned a yes vote from all the judges.
5. Phobias
Does anyone know what to think about Phobias? They are scary and mess with people’s phobias of clowns, yet it’s so entertaining.
6. Shuler King
A stand-up comedian has never won “America’s Got Talent” before. Can Shuler King change that during season 20?
7. Tom Sandoval & The Most Extras
We all know him from “Vanderpump Rules,” but now Tom Sandoval is competing with his band The Most Extras for a spot in the semifinals of “AGT” 2025.
8. Sirca Marea
This trapeze act left the judges and the audience on the edge of their seats during their performance to “Lose Control” by Teddy Swims.
9. Light Wire
This dance group from Brazil impressed Simon Cowell, who gave them one of his Golden Buzzers. They are dancers that took the form of jungle animals and dancers at a carnival.
10. Charity Lockhart
Another Golden Buzzer will perform during week 1 of the Quarterfinals, this time one of Mel B’s. Charity used a second chance to earn that Golden Buzzer, so will she take that moment and run during this next round?
11. Jourdan Blue
Jourdan Blue went viral after his performance of “Breakeven” by The Script during the auditions. Can he keep up that momentum for America’s votes this week?
