The “All About That Bass” singer, 31, stepped out at Peacock’s “The Paper” premiere in Los Angeles on August 27. Trainor also served as a season 22 advisor on “American Idol” and openly expressed interest in joining the judges’ panel after Katy Perry’s exit.
Trainor Flaunts Weight Loss At Red Carpet

The singer exuded old Hollywood glamour in a black-and-white shorts set, her blonde hair swept into an elegant updo.

Trainor looked almost unrecognizable in her latest red carpet outing.

By her side was her husband, actor Daryl Sabara, 33, who complemented her look in an all-black outfit.

Married since 2019, the couple proudly shares two sons, Riley, 4, and Barry, 2.

The premiere came just days after Trainor responded to fans buzzing about her appearance.
Subtle Response to Fan Buzz
On August 22, she shared a TikTok video lip-syncing to Megan Thee Stallion’s song “Her” while crediting her glam squad.

“Glam team really did that,” she captioned, tagging her hair and makeup artists.
Earlier that week, the Grammy winner also posted a social media clip highlighting her strength and fit physique, with fans commenting that she looked nearly unrecognizable.
Trainor started her weight loss journey after welcoming her first son, Riley, in 2021. By November 2022, she revealed to Entertainment Tonight Canada (As reported by People) that she had shed 60 pounds through diet and exercise.
Trainor Opens Up About Her Health Journey
In March, Trainor shared with People that her transformation was the result of “huge lifestyle changes,” including workouts, working with a dietician, and using the weight loss medication Mounjaro. “I have never been more comfortable in my body,” she said.
In May, she reflected on her growth on Instagram. “No, I don’t look like I did 10 years ago,” she wrote. “I’ve been on a journey to be the healthiest, strongest version of myself for my kids and for me.”
Shifting the Conversation Beyond Appearance

Despite celebrating her progress, Trainor has been candid about how the focus on her body has overshadowed her music.
After being honored at Billboard’s Women in Music event, she noted,

“It’s a little disheartening that so many of the questions (and comments) were focused on my body instead of my music, my passion, or the decade of hard work that got me here.”

She continued, “I’ve worked with a dietician, made huge lifestyle changes, started exercising with a trainer, and yes, I used science and support (shoutout to Mounjaro!) to help me after my 2nd pregnancy. And I’m so glad I did because I feel great.”

Concluding her message, Trainor added, “Here’s to celebrating talent, growth, and the power of putting yourself first. Let’s keep shifting the convo to what REALLY matters.”
