Riley Burruss was racking up the credit card bill during a night out at the club, and mom, Kandi Burruss, is weighing in on the $14K tab during a sneak peek look at the July 1 episode of Bravo’s “Next Gen NYC.”
Parents Visit Their Daughter in NYC
In the sneak peek video of “Next Gen NYC,” the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum and her husband pay a visit to their daughter in New York City.
In the hilarious clip, fellow “RHOA” kid Ariana Biermann, the daughter of series alum Kim Zolciak, talked about how she connected with Riley after they both moved to the Big Apple.
“I have been with Riley every single day since I moved here,” Ariana tells Kandi and her husband, Todd Tucker. “She is literally my best friend. I’m like, ‘You are my favorite part of New York.'”
Kandi was very happy about their friendship, saying she loved it and thought, “This is great.”
Dad Wants Some Details
While Kandi was happy about the friendship, it seems like Todd wanted some details regarding the latest drama between Riley and Ariana and their costars.
Todd pipes in: “So, Riley kind of brushed over the friend group. Who was the dude that you was having a problem with?”
That happened to be Charlie Zakkour, as Riley says: “We went out and he’s like, ‘Oh, y’all, let’s split a table.’ We were going to The Box. Charlie came, brought, like, 10 girls. I literally had nowhere to sit, and I’m like, ‘Charlie, okay, you have all these girls here. I don’t have any space. You guys are drinking up all the alcohol.’ 1942 bottle, so it wasn’t cheap.”
That story was cut short, as Kandi chimed in: “I’m paying for 1942 bottles?!”
While Riley states, “I paid for it, Mom,” the Grammy-winning singer fires back: “With what?! It better not be on the card that I pay for. What did he chip in? That’s what I wanna know.”
The Story Continues
After the brief interruption, Riley got back to the story: “Basically, he’s mad at me because I ended up kicking him out of the table.” That is when she drops the details on the total of the bill, which she said was “14-something.”
Kandi was shocked, saying: “$14,000?! Girl!” Riley tried to lessen the blow, adding: “My part was seven-something.”
Ariana tried to lessen the blow also, revealing that their costar Emira D’Spain “is splitting it in half with you.”
The hilarious banter comes to an end with Kandi saying: “You got too much money to burn. You’re really gonna have to figure out your finances, honey.”
“Next Gen NYC” is a new series on Bravo, which airs Tuesday nights at 9 p.m.
