“Southern Charmโ star Madison LeCroy has revealed that her newborn daughter Teddi will be heading home soon following her stay in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU).
‘The Happiest Day’
The reality star posted the news on Instagram Friday, July 11, nearly two weeks after giving birth. โGood news, yโall,โ she wrote in the caption of a hospital photo with her daughter. โLooks like our Teddi girl will be home by Monday! Counting down the minutes.โ
LeCroy and husband Brett Randle welcomed Teddi on June 29, several weeks before her expected due date. Born at just 34 weeks via C-section, the infant was admitted to the NICU, according to the star’s exclusive with the New York Post.
Despite her early arrival, LeCroy has kept fans updated on Teddiโs progress. โUpdate on baby Teddi: Sheโs still in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) and weโre still here with her, but sheโs doing great,โ she wrote in a July 8 Instagram Story. โTaking her bottles, gaining weight, and right on track for where she should be. Our little preemie angel is getting stronger every dayโฆ we canโt wait to bring her home.โ
The reality star also shared a glimpse into her delivery experience through a video reel posted to Instagram. She captioned it, โClick the link in bio to watch the happiest day unfold ๐ฉท.โ
Fans quickly flooded the comments with messages of support and joy. โI am crying HAPPY TEARS FOR A FAMILY I WILL NEVER KNOW,โ one user wrote. Another added, โSo happy for you all!! Sheโs absolutely perfect ๐ ๐๏ธ ๐ Teddi is so loved! We all feel like she is our little baby too.โ
From Labor to Love: A New Chapter for the LeCroy-Randle Family
The Bravo personality previously opened up to Us Weekly about Teddiโs delivery and early strength. โSheโs only five pounds,โ LeCroy shared. โ[She] hasnโt needed any oxygen or anything like that. Sheโs kind of a little trooper. [Doctors] were shocked with how early she was that she was gonna be this independent. So I was like, โOh, I wasnโt shocked at all.โโ
As the LeCroy-Randle family prepares to welcome baby Teddi home, Madisonโs 12-year-old son, Hudson, is stepping into his role as big brotherโa moment LeCroy hinted has brought even more joy to their growing family.
During an appearance on the “Southern Charm After Show,” LeCroy shared, “At first he didn’t [want a younger sibling], and then I got a dog, and then he was like, ‘Actually, this is kinda cool.’ And then he’s like, ‘Okay, I think I can do this.'”
