Paige DeSorbo shared new details on her recent breakup from Craig Conover after three years of dating.
On the February 3 episode of her “Giggly Squad” podcast, the “Summer House” star addressed cheating rumors and laid out the exact timeline of her split from the “Southern Charm” veteran.
“I will say that Craig and I broke up Thanksgiving weekend, OK? “DeSorbo said on her podcast. “That’s at the end of November. Craig then went on and did press for ‘Southern Charm,’ did whatever he needed to do, acting as if we were still together. And that was fine. I said that he could do that, he was processing [the breakup] in his own way.”
DeSorbo claimed that she texted Conover one month after they secretly broke up and informed him of her plans to announce the news on her podcast. “[I said] ‘I’m going to say something on ‘Giggly Squad’ and we can both start moving forward. It’s been a full month now,’” she recalled, noting that Conover did not reply to her text.
In her update, she also reiterated that she was never unfaithful to Conover during their three years together. “No one was blindsided. No one was cheated on. I never physically cheated on him, emotionally cheated on him,” she said “Can you mentally cheat on him? … I don’t know, but I didn’t.”
She added, “I did not move on with some new guy. I am single, I don’t have a new boyfriend.”
DeSorbo was likely referring to rumors that she was dating sports agent Joe D’Amelio after being spotted at a Philadelphia Eagles with him game in early January. She has also had to fend off rumors that she cheated on Conover with “Saturday Night Live” actor Marcello Hernandez.
‘Summer House’ & ‘Southern Charm’ Stars Have Weighed In on the Breakup

During a January appearance on “Watch What Happens Live,” Conover’s friend Austen Kroll stated that he didn’t think the stories about DeSorbo moving on were “rumors” at all. “I think that they’ve been substantiated, and I think Craig knows as such. You know, he didn’t know for a minute, but yeah — I think that he’s fully come to terms with that. That’s not a rumor,” Kroll alleged.
DeSorbo’s friend, “Summer House” star Amanda Batula, told Us Weekly that rumors about Desorbo cheating were “ridiculous,” and she called on Conover to set the record straight. Batula told Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea”, “To not clear up any of the cheating rumors is insanity. That was still your girlfriend of three years. Like, stand up for her a little bit. He’s been silent.”

DeSorbo also described Conover as “the best boyfriend” she ever had. “I think he is one of the best people I’ve met in my entire life,” she added. “I will remain the biggest fan for him and want the best for him. And he truly will get the best because he is the best.”
When Conover finally addressed the split on his Instagram story on January 7, he claimed to be “very shocked” by the end of the relationship, which he said ended “right before the holidays.”
“Your best friend that you talked to every day then they’re just gone,“ he said. “So one day, I’ll be able to talk more on it but right now, I just wanted to thank everyone for their kind messages.”
But he also asked fans for kindness. “Remember to be kind to Paige and me and yourselves and all of that good stuff,” the “Southern Charm” star reminded fans.
