“Summer House” is coming back to Bravo. The network revealed that the hit series would be returning for its ninth installment on Wednesday, February 12 at 9 p.m. Eastern, and shared a first look of the new season on YouTube on December 18. The explosive season 9 trailer gives a look ahead at the drama to come, including a clip of “Summer House” mainstay Paige DeSorbo in tears while confiding in her on-screen bestie Ciara Miller about her relationship with “Southern Charm” star Craig Conover.
“Me and Craig are gonna break up and everything I have will, like, go away. It’s just a lot,” DeSorbo told Miller while the two sat together in bed.
Craig Conover Previously Predicted ‘Probable’ Breakup With Paige DeSorbo
DeSorbo’s emotional moment comes after a separate clip of Miller telling DeSorbo, “It’s weird to have a boyfriend that’s giving hater energy. And I hate watching that s***,” and another clip of DeSorbo and Conover on a date.
“You can’t choose work all the time,” Conover told his girlfriend DeSorbo, who responded, “Should I apologize for being strong and independent?”
While it’s unclear if DeSorbo’s premonition about her and Conover breaking up was a serious confirmation that the end is near for the couple, it’s not the first time either member of the couple have cast doubt on their future together. In season 8 of “Summer House”, Conover called a breakup “very probable” given their long distance (with DeSorbo based in New York and Conover in Charleston).
DeSorbo rected to this statement in a March 2024 interview with E! News, where she said, “Honestly, I wasn’t upset about it at all because I think everything he said I agreed with. Yes, in statistics people could potentially break up. We have a higher rate because we do do long distance, but I think if we weren’t acknowledging that we would be really naive.”
Fans React to Paige DeSorbo in the ‘Summer House’ Trailer
During the season 9 trailer, DeSorbo had fans rolling on the floor laughing after she made a shady dig at co-star Kyle Cooke’s DJ ambitions. “The only reason I came here tonight was so that somebody kept his wife company while he pretends to be Diplo,” DeSorbo said.
“Paige calling Kyle Diplo! I love her! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣,” one fan commented on YouTube.
