When it comes to his first dance, Joey Graziadei is calling in the pros, literally. โThe Bachelorโ alum and โDancing With the Starsโ champion shared that Jenna Johnson and Val Chmerkovskiy are teaming up to choreograph his and Kelsey Andersonโs wedding routine, and fans are already swooning over the idea.
โDancing With the Starsโ Pros to the Rescue
While on a TikTok Live session, Graziadei, 30, and pro dancer Johnson, 31, who won the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy during โDWTSโ season 33, were taking questions from fans. One fan asked Johnson in the chat, โAre you going to choreograph Joey and Kelseyโs first dance?
Johnson covered her heart with her hands, instantly replying, โI would be honored to.โ
This doesnโt seem like itโs the first time this idea has been mentioned. Graziadei chimed in, saying itโs already โlockedโ in.
In fact, the โDancing With the Starsโ winner said that Johnsonโs husband, Val Chmerkovskiy, would also be helping choreograph the special dance. Graziadei said, “Her and Val are going to make sure that we look as good as we can.โ
Some Nerve-Wracking Wedding Guests
The conversation continued, as Johnson gushed over the bride-to-be. Johnson said, “Anything for my queen, Kelsey. I canโt wait to see her do a little waltz in a wedding dress! Iโll cry.”
Then, Graziadei confirmed that not only will Johnson and Chmerkovskiy be choreographers for their dance, but the “Dancing With the Stars” pros will also be guests at the actual wedding. However, he did admit that it would be nerve-wracking having the couple at the wedding, since they would be able to spot any mistakes during that first dance.
“I think itโs going to be funny because youโre going to be there and watching it, and I know you and Val are gonna be nervous to see it, and weโre going to be nervous to not mess it up,” Graziadei said.
Johnson chimed in, โNo! Iโll be so happy.โ
A Long Engagement
Graziadei and Anderson met and fell in love during season 28 of โThe Bachelor.โ During the season finale, Joey got down on one knee and proposed to Kelsey.
The couple is now in the early stages of wedding planning. They have previously expressed that they wanted a long engagement, according to PEOPLE.
That seems like it would be fine by the first dance choreographers. They are busy working on the current season of โDancing With the Stars.โ Val is partnered with influencer Alix Earle, and they happen to be one of the top couples this season.
Meanwhile, Johnson and her partner, actor and musician Corey Feldman, were one of the first two couples eliminated from the show during week 2.
