Deadline says the Saudi Arabian event, which ran from December 4 to 13, opened with a screening of Rowan Athale’s biopic “Giant,” which stars Amir El Masry as a boxing champion.

The Hollywood Reporter says the “Pirates of the Caribbean” star announced during the festival that he will continue his Hollywood comeback by producing an English-language adaptation of Mikhail Bulgakov’s “The Master and Margarita.”

Sir Anthony Hopkins held an “In Conversation” session at the festival on December 10, according to The Upcoming. The outlet says he discussed his career journey and his “Silence of the Lambs” character Hannibal Lecter during the talk.

Supermodel and former Victoria’s Secret Angel Alessandra Ambrosio captivated the red carpet cameras in a magnificent gown which The Haute Couture Corner reported was designed by Zuhair Murad.
