We are down to the final three teams on “The Great Food Truck Race” 2025 on Food Network. These three teams will be battling it out for a spot in “The Great Food Truck Race” season 18 finale next week.
Host Tyler Florence will be sending the teams over to Newport News, Virginia, for a couple of days of selling, which will see one of the teams setting an all-time sales record.
Record-Breaking Night on ‘The Great Food Truck Race’
The teams competed in Virginia Beach, Virginia, last week on “The Great Food Truck Race” 2025. They were faced with challenges and seafood as they continued their fight for that $50,000 prize.
For tonight, the teams will be making their way 40 miles up the road to Newport News, Virginia, for Episode 7, as their East Coast road trip continues. The episode is titled “Showdown in Newport News.”
In the episode synopsis from Food Network, “The final three teams have no idea that host Tyler Florence is evaluating their food truck workflow in a secret surveillance challenge in Newport News, Va. He shuts the loser down for an hour, but his penalty comes with a silver lining. The top two teams both blow challenges they could have easily won, and one truck sets an all-time sales record.”In the sneak peek shared by Food Network above, we see the ladies of Cooking With Que prepping for a day of selling. They know they have to sell, sell, sell to beat Good Fortune Company. They will need food and dishes to sell on their truck to do that, but accidentally throwing away some of their ingredients may come back to haunt them.
A Battle for the Finale
Food NetworkWhile the sales rolled over into the last episode, things in Newport News will be starting fresh. All three of the teams — Good Fortune Company, Nishaan, and Cooking With Que — will be fighting for a spot in “The Great Food Truck Race” season 18 finale next week.
In the preview video at the end of last week’s episode, it shows that Tyler will be conducting a surveillance challenge on the teams that they don’t know about. The preview shows that the ladies of Cooking With Que must have violated something, as Tyler heads to their truck to shut them down for one hour.
That is going to be rough for them, as every second counts when you are trying to earn a spot in the finals.
Episode 7 of “The Great Food Truck Race” season 18 airs tonight, Sunday, September 7, at 9/8c on Food Network. It will be available for next-day streaming on HBO Max.
