After their big win over Christina Haack on “The Flip Off,” Tarek and Heather El Moussa turned their attention back to their main show, “The Flipping El Moussas.” But the season ended with the March 13 episode. Or did it?
Now Heather Rae El Moussa is teasing fans with an unexpected bonus episode of the show! In her Instagram stories on March 19, Heather told fans the couple had returned to filming, saying, “I’m in glam. The team is back together. We’re filming for ‘The Flipping El Moussas’ today. It’s been a while. We have one more episode that’s going to be coming out, you guys. I don’t know when. I’ll announce it soon, as soon as I hear.”
It seems that one of the pair’s homes was still a work in progress, so the show circled back to do an update.
In another post, Heather took fans behind-the-scenes of the flip. In the clip, she said, “We’re back filming The Flipping El Moussas to finish off the season for you guys,” confirming that the new episode will still be part of Season 2 when it airs. Heather admitted the flip was “taking longer than expected.”
In another video, Tarek explained the cause of the delays saying, “It’s one of the very last shoot days for Season 2 of The Flipping El Moussas. This house is a little bit behind because of permit delays, but in about two weeks, this sucker will be done, it will be listed. It is the final house of the season. We’re going to sell it over asking and we’re going to Disneyland.”
El Moussas Spend Spring Break at Disneyland
Both Heather and Tarek El Moussa posted about their visit to Disneyland on their Instagram stories.
In the post, Heather tells fans that “Visit Anaheim” set them up with a private tour of the park for Tarek’s son Brayden’s spring break.
Heather posted several pictures of their luxurious accommodations where they relaxed before hitting the park.
In one video, Heather shows viewers her outfit strategy for a day at Disneyland, including comfortable New Balance sneakers, a SKIMS bodysuit, FRAME jeans and a cardigan for the cooler weather. The designer told fans she always wears a ballcap and sunglasses for park visits to protect her skin.
In one of the videos, Heather talked about her love for rides “Haunted Mansion” and “Space Mountain,” but said the “Indiana Jones Adventure” might be her new favorite. But Tarek had to talk his wife into going on the “Splash Mountain” ride. Heather finally agreed on the condition that she ride near the back so she wouldn’t get wet. But Tarek put on a clear plastic poncho and braved the front seat on the ride.
Heather Rae El Moussa Promises Episode Update
At press time, there was no air date for the surprise bonus episode of “The Flipping El Moussas.” But Heather promised, “I will let you know soon.”
So far, HGTV has not announced plans for a third season of that show. But Tarek will be back on HGTV with Season 4 of his series “Flipping 101 With Tarek El Moussa” on April 3.
