Heather Rae El Moussa rang in her 38th birthday surrounded by her blended family. The “Selling Sunset” star shared a heartwarming Instagram post on Tuesday showing her loved ones gathered for a celebratory dinner.
The photo included her husband, Tarek El Moussa, 44, his ex-wife Christina Haack, 42, and their children Taylor, 14, and Brayden, 10. Also at the table were Heather and Tarek’s son Tristan, 2, as well as Haack’s son Hudson, 6, whom she shares with her ex Ant Anstead.

Heather captioned the photo: “Feeling so loved this birthday ✨ Spent the whole day surrounded by the people I love most 💕 My heart couldn’t be more full.”
In the snapshot, Heather sat at the center of the table wearing a beige tank top with a white cardigan. Christina and her boyfriend Christopher Larocca sat to one side, while Tarek, Brayden, Tristan, and Hudson were seated on the other. Taylor posed behind Heather with her hand on her stepmother’s shoulder, giving fans a rare glimpse of the teen.
Heather also added a playful note to the post, joking, “P.S. Tristan’s reaction to the ‘new addition’ at dinner was priceless 😂👀👀,” referencing her toddler looking up at Taylor’s friend instead of the camera.
The El Moussas and Haack often come together to mark milestones for their children. Just last month, the family celebrated Brayden’s first day of school and Tristan’s first day of preschool. Christina shared photos of Brayden’s big day on Instagram, writing, “First day of 4th grade for Bray 🩵 New school. Fresh start. New adventures. Let the chaos begin!!! 🤪,” while Heather added a supportive comment.

Though co-parenting hasn’t always been smooth, Heather said in a past interview with People that the family has worked hard to prioritize the children. “We’ve definitely had some ups and downs,” she said, adding that Christina eventually realized “how much I love the kids and that they are number one to me, over anything. So any drama aside, the kids are the most important thing to all of us.”
Heather officially became Taylor and Brayden’s stepmom when she married Tarek in October 2021, nearly five years after his divorce from Haack. Since then, the families have celebrated holidays and milestones together while also supporting each other’s children and professional ventures.
Most recently, the three teamed up for HGTV’s hit show “The Flip Off,” which became the network’s highest-rated freshman premiere since September 2022, according to Warner Bros.
