Mariah Carey Is ‘Here For It All’ With First New Album in 7 Years

Any storied artist still putting out new music deserves all of the recognition they can get.

When Beyonce announces an album, the world anxiously awaits the theme, tone and everything else. Bad Bunny can do no wrong when it comes to his long and engaging albums bringing Latin music to listeners who wouldnโ€™t normally try anything outside of their regular listening. Even Bon Joviโ€™s latest album – โ€œForeverโ€ – charted very high.

It makes sense that someone like former ‘American Idol’ judge Mariah Carey would want to stay relevant outside of her 90โ€™s catalogue and that song we canโ€™t seem to escape during the holidays.

Got Me Feeling Emotion

Carey has been teasing new work as recently as right before the announcement itself.

The singerโ€™s Instagram has been buzzing with posts about new music coming. Whether it was an album or song was yet to be known.

But Carey didnโ€™t let fans wait too long as she announced โ€œHere For It Allโ€ set to release on September 25, 2025.

The first tease for the record came in early June with the release of the song โ€œType Dangerous.โ€ Singer Anderson .Paak co-wrote and co-produced the song. He may have more involvement on the album as a whole.

Fantasy

This would make for Careyโ€™s 16th record overall. Her last release was 2018โ€™s โ€œCautionโ€ that played well with fans and critics alike. People were excited with the singerโ€™s traditional yet exciting R&B sound.

Fans commented in elation about the announcement of โ€œHere For It Allโ€ on every last post under Careyโ€™s Instagram.

Comedian Billy Eichner wrote โ€œSAVE US MARIAH!!โ€ in a post chronicling the singerโ€™s lengthy discography.

Ex-husband Nick Cannon wrote โ€œGreatest Of All Time!!!โ€ with several fire emojis in the same post.

Singer Tori Kelly commented โ€œthe run on sugaaaarโ€ with a heart eyes and fire emoji on a post where Carey teased a new song.
