Ozzy Osbourne Talks Family in Documentary Trailer Before His Passing

In the final months of his life, Ozzy Osbourne shared intimate reflections on his family life in the upcoming BBC documentary, โ€œSharon & Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home.โ€

The film offers a poignant glimpse into the Osbournesโ€™ return to their native England and their life together before Ozzyโ€™s passing on July 22, 2025, at age 76.

The trailer for the documentary dropped on Wednesday, October 1.

The film captures their candid moments, including a funny exchange where Sharon said the family is normal.

โ€œWeโ€™re quite normal. Weโ€™re quite boring, really, when it comes down to it,โ€ Sharon noted until Ozzy disagreed. โ€œI wouldnโ€™t say weโ€™re [explicit] normal,โ€ Ozzy added.

Sharon Reveals The Sweet Gesture Ozzy Would Do

Sharon and Ozzy were married for 43 years at the time of his passing, but he continued a sweet gesture throughout all of their years together.

In a heartwarming moment, Sharon revealed the Prince of Darkness would leave her sweet notes around the home.

โ€œHe is very romantic,โ€ she told the cameras. โ€œHe still leaves me little notes, so Iโ€™ll open a drawer and thereโ€™s a little note from him.โ€

She also showed how numerous of the adorable notes were framed as well.

Ozzy admitted that, โ€œI feel like Iโ€™m finally home,โ€ expressing contentment in returning to Birmingham.

When Sharon asked what Ozzy was looking forward to most, he jokingly replied, โ€œDoing absolutely nothing.โ€

The Documentary Is a Family Affair

Both Jack and Kelly Osbourne are featured in the documentary.

Their daughter Kelly reflected on their parentsโ€™ enduring energy, stating, โ€œI donโ€™t think itโ€™s possible for either one of them to retire, ever.โ€

Their son Jack was also featured in the trailer and stated how it was nice to be back together with his family.

“Post โ€˜Osbournes,โ€™ we all kind of just, like, scattered,” he said. “Twenty years later, it’s like, weโ€™re back together again.”

Originally conceived as a series titled โ€œHome to Roostโ€ in 2022, the project evolved into a one-off special due to Ozzyโ€™s declining health.

The documentary was initially scheduled to air in August but was postponed out of respect for the family following Ozzyโ€™s death. It is now set to premiere on October 2, 2025, on BBC One via iPlayer.

Sharon & Kelly Are Finding Peace After Ozzy’s Passing

After the tragic passing of the rock legend, both Sharon and Kelly have found some solace in falconry.

Both posted similar videos on social media showing their new hobby.

Sharon expressed how being around the birds is “magical.”

“Though Iโ€™m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with,” she wrote. “The connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence. Theyโ€™ll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. Itโ€™s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.”
