Some Hollywood friendships do stand the test of time. Jennifer Garner reunited with her longtime friend and former “Alias” co-star Bradley Cooper. The former co-stars met for a cozy family dinner on Sunday, July 21. The two actors were spotted dining at Nobu in Malibu, accompanied by their children, making for a casual yet heartwarming gathering.
A Stylish & Relaxed Night Out
According to photos shared by Just Jared, the “13 Going on 30” star, 53, looked effortlessly chic in a white sweater with statement buttons, paired with coordinating jeans. She wore her brunette hair in a sleek bun and kept her look fresh with minimal makeup and dark sunglasses.
Bradley, 49, opted for a laid-back look, donning a taupe hoodie and black shorts. Sporting his signature mustache and shades, he kept things low-key as the group exited the beachside eatery.
Kids Join the Beachside Gathering
Jennifer’s 19-year-old daughter Violet Affleck made a fashionable appearance in a graphic blue sweater featuring oranges and a polka-dot skirt. Her accessories included a brown shoulder bag and a set of layered white beaded necklaces.
Her younger brother, Samuel Affleck, 13, twinned with his dad in a Palisades sweatshirt over a green polo and beige pants.
Bradley’s 8-year-old daughter, Lea, whom he shares with model Irina Shayk, wore a black hoodie dress and let her long blonde hair flow freely.
A Bond That Goes Back to Alias
Garner and Cooper’s bond has remained strong since their days on the hit action series Alias, which ran from 2001 to 2006. Their real-life friendship has often delighted fans, with Jennifer even moderating a Q&A for Bradley’s film Maestro in 2023.
In a 2013 GQ profile, Cooper revealed that the first thing Jennifer ever said to him was, “Do you want a cookie?” At the 32nd Annual Cinematheque Awards, Garner humorously recalled Bradley’s “apple-drooling frosted-haired boy wonder” look from their “Alias” days before gushing over his growth and success.
“Bradley, what’s happening to you now is a pure joy to those who know you,” she said. “It turns out you weren’t just handsome all along. You were also a wonder, and you are welcome at my table anytime.”
Some friendships go far beyond the set, and Jennifer & Bradley’s enduring bond is proof of just that.
