Amy Schumer is making waves with a stunning new photo revealing a dramatic weight loss.
On Saturday, October 4, the comedian shared an image from Las Vegas where she rocked a Miu Miu mini shirt dress and black heels — and the transformation was unmistakable.
She was seen with her famous friends Alex Saks and Jillian Bell.

Schumer Talks Weight Loss
At 44, Schumer has been open about the challenges she’s faced with weight and health.
She previously experimented with Ozempic but experienced intense side effects, citing her GDF15 gene as a factor.
She opened up about her gene in a January 2025 appearance on “The Howard Stern Show.”
“I have this gene, GDF15, which makes you extremely prone to nausea, which is why I was so sick during my pregnancy,” she began.
She added that while the drug worked, she couldn’t continue with it due to extreme side effects.
“I was, like, vomiting — and then you have no energy. But other people take it and they’re all good. God bless them,” she told Stern.
Schumer said that daily tasks were impossible and she couldn’t “lift [her] head off the pillow.”
Ultimately, she decided it wasn’t worth the toll it took on her body.
Now, she’s turned to a different approach — combining hormone therapy (estrogen, progesterone) with Mounjaro (another GLP-1 medication) — and says she’s seeing improvements.
“My hair is fuller, my skin is better, I have more energy,” she told fans.
Schumer Keeps It Real
Before her impressive weight loss, Schumer also recently shared an update on a lingering health challenge tied to a surfing injury she’s dealt with for years.
In a post on Instagram in August, she revealed that her L5 vertebra had been giving her intense pain — and that she’d undergone a laminectomy, a surgical procedure to relieve pressure on spinal nerves.
The image showed her using a walker, but she reassured fans it was a “short recovery” and she’s looking forward to getting back to normal life.
