‘Mormon Wives’ Star Jen Affleck Goes Into Labor at Nail Salon

Jen Affleck, star of the reality series “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives,” had an unforgettable moment when she unexpectedly went into labor during a manicure appointment—and documented it all on TikTok.

The Surprising Moment Caught on Camera

“POV: you start having contractions at your nail appointment,” the 26-year-old wrote in the June 27 video, which has already garnered over 5 million views.

A friend off-camera asked, “How are you feeling?” to which Affleck smiled and replied, “I’m feeling great!”

Shortly after, the star began tracking her contractions and doing squats to help manage the discomfort—all while giving the camera a glimpse of her freshly painted pink floral manicure.

At one point, Affleck makes a phone call, presumably to her husband Zac, to let him know she was officially in labor. She then used a handheld Doppler device to check the baby’s heartbeat.

Wearing a green-and-white striped tube top with matching flowy pants, Affleck eventually lay down on the salon floor, where a woman appeared to perform a cervical check as she practiced steady, controlled breathing.

Couple Looks Ahead to Baby No. 3 With Optimism

Jen and Zac Affleck are already parents to daughter Nora, 3, and son Lucas, 1 and the couple shared their excitement about the surprise pregnancy in a February interview with People.

“I was a few days late, and while it was a surprise, we both had a feeling there was another baby waiting for us,” Jen told People. “We were very excited, there were a lot of emotions after a very crazy year!”

Though Season 2 of “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” touched on a brief separation between the couple, their story has evolved into one of renewed connection. Jen later explained that she and Zac focused on strengthening their relationship while preparing to welcome their third child.

“Something that Zac and I have done and something that we’ve worked on in therapy is really making our relationship a focus,” she told People in May. “That’s something that I now take pride in, but it’s a full-time job.”
