Stamos, who was born on August 19, 1963, decided to share the candid photo on his 62nd birthday. In the photo, he can be seen taking a shower on a rooftop at the Bowery Hotel in New York City.
He happens to be wearing only a pair of black Calvin Klein boxers. Fans were quick to show the image some love, as it has received over 16,000 likes and almost 1,000 comments in the first couple of hours it was shared.
The “Full House” actor captioned the image: “A rooftop birthday shower in NYC to start the day, and the love of family and friends to carry me through. At 62, I’ve learned the best things in life can’t be washed away…laughter, love, and gratitude. Thank you for every wish and every year. I don’t take a single drop for granted.”

It didn’t take long for the comment section on the image to fill up. Fans, friends, and costars were not only sending happy birthday wishes, but they were also reminiscing about his time on “Full House” and other iconic TV shows.
One of his former costars, Candace Cameron Bure, wrote, “Happy birthday uncle J 🥳🩷.” Of course, that is in reference to his character, Uncle Jesse, on the American sitcom.

John Stamos’ Career Has Spanned Four Decades
While Stamos is celebrating his 62nd birthday, he also has reason to celebrate being a familiar face in Hollywood for four decades. He initially rose to fame in the 1980s while starring on “General Hospital.”
He became a staple in many families’ homes when he was cast as Uncle Jesse on “Full House,” which aired from 1987 to 1995. Stamos then reprised the role almost 30 years later and served as an executive producer for the Netflix spinoff, “Fuller House,” from 2016 to 2020.
Stamos also appeared in a variety of TV shows over the years, including “ER” and “Glee.” In addition, you could find him building a career on Broadway and in music, often performing with The Beach Boys.
