Miss USA 2025 took place on Friday, October 24, at 5 p.m. PST and was filmed live from the Grand Sierra Resort & Casino in Reno, Nevada. There was a talented, beautiful pool of women competing for the title, but it was Miss Nebraska, Audrey Eckert, who was crowned Miss USA 2025.

Hours before Eckert was crowned the winner, she posted on Instagram on Friday, October 24. She showed a picture of herself getting a spray tan. “The glow hits different when you’re chasing your dreams,” she wrote in the caption. “Surrounded by the best, stepping into tonight’s finals feeling confident, grateful, and ready to give it my all! This one’s for you Nebraska.”
It is her final post, and fans have flooded it with reactions to her becoming the new Miss USA 2025. “WOWW MISS USA!!!!,” a comment reads. “Congratulations Miss USA!!” another person shared.
Other reactions include, “Congrats Miss USA!!!! Can’t wait for you to represent USA in Thailand in this year 74th Miss Universe competition,” “Nebraska to compete for the second time on the Miss Universe stage in Thailand. Go Miss USA,” and “We knew you could do it!! congratulations Miss USA!!”
On October 24, Eckert shared her gratitude for being included in the Miss USA 2025 finals. “Gratitude doesn’t even begin to cover it. Competing at the Miss USA preliminary competition last night was surreal, and being recognized with the preliminary swimsuit award was a true honor!” she wrote on Instagram.
She continued, “My evening gown was a dream come true. Designed alongside @ashleyrenes and @sherrihill, inspired by Hollywood glamour, Audrey Hepburn elegance, and timeless sophistication. I couldn’t have imagined a gown more ‘me.’ Next up: finals!!!”
Miss USA 2025 Judges
Eckert was chosen by a celebrity panel of judges, including DWTS alum Sasha Farber, “The Valley” star and Miss USA 2014 winner Nia Sanchez, Bachelor Nation’s Jade Roper Tolbert, and fashion designers Kenneth Barlis and Hannah Edwards.
The former “Dancing with the Stars” professional shared his excitement about being included in the competition in an interview with Us Weekly on October 20. “I’m thrilled to be judging Miss USA because it celebrates incredible talent, confidence, and the unique stories of these amazing women,” Farber said. “It’s inspiring to witness their journey and to be part of such a prestigious event.”
Farber also teased his inclusion in the show with a behind-the-scenes look at himself getting ready, his thoughts on being a judge, and pictures from backstage.
