Neil Patrick Harris is giving fans a rare glimpse into his family life, and hearts are melting.
The “How I Met Your Mother” star recently shared a candid photo with his husband, David Burtka, and their twins, Harper and Gideon, during a getaway in East Hampton, New York.
‘The Loves of My Life’
Harris doesn’t share many photos of his twins, which is why this sweet family snapshot he shared on his Instagram account quickly drew waves of love from fans. Many of those fans couldn’t believe how much the kids have grown.
NPH captioned the photo, “The loves of my life. ❤️❤️❤️” In the photo, the family of four posed together and were all smiles for a candid shot while they were in East Hampton.
It seemed like Harris may have missed the memo on the yellow theme, as Burtka and the twins all were wearing a yellow-themed outfit. However, NPH was looking stylish in a black see-through button-down shirt paired with dark gray straight-cut pants and leather loafers.
Fans Gushing Over the ‘Beautiful Family’
It didn’t take fans of the family to share their love in the comments.

NPH & Burtka: Their Relationship History
The couple was both cast in “How I Met Your Mother” on CBS. At that time, Neil Patrick Harris played the iconic Barney Stinson. Meanwhile, Burtka played Scooter, the former high school boyfriend of Lily Aldrin (Alyson Hannigan).
In 2007, the “A Series of Unfortunate Events” star revealed he was in a relationship, but he didn’t give any details on who the person was.
The same year, during a guest appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” Harris said, “My life had been relatively open in my world. I’ve been dating the same guy for three years and our families know. We go out together all the time … I never felt it was an obligation for me to hold pinkies down the red carpet or anything,” PEOPLE reported.
During that same year, the couple made their first joint red carpet appearance at the 2007 Emmy Awards after three years of dating. The couple then welcomed their beautiful twins, who were born via surrogate, in 2010.
