Bozoma Saint John penned a note to Garcelle Beauvais in her most recent Instagram post after the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star announced her exit following five seasons.
“To Garcelle, For your pioneering, bravery, and grace in 5 seasons of RHOBH…. well done,” Saint John wrote on March 26. “I wish we’d had more time together on this platform to continue showing the world that both of us can exist in the same space with different offerings and different opinions (and besties!), but still find a way to resolve our differences without tearing the world apart. And that we’re able to shine bright together and individually too.”
“You are leaving on your terms, and while disappointed by your exit, it is commendable. I’m wishing you even greater success. ONWARD!,” she continued. “With respect always, Boz.”
Boz included numerous photos of her time on “Watch What Happens Live” with Erika Jayne after the finale aired on March 25, and her note to Beauvais was on the second to last slide of the post.
Erika Jayne & Boz Saint John Give Candid Reactions to Garcelle Beauvais’ Exit
During the “Watch What Happens Live” episode on March 25, Bravo host Andy Cohen asked Saint John and Jayne for their reactions to Beauvais’ exit.
However, both women remained silent after the question.
“Ladies? You have no thoughts on it? Neither of you?” Cohen followed up.
Saint John jumped in, pressing Jayne to say something, but she fired right back at Saint John to do the same thing.
Ultimately, Saint John went first, saying she’s disappointed that she’s departing after the reunion.
“I wish she would’ve stayed on for another season,” she added.
As for Jayne, she shed some light on when the cast became aware that Beauvais wasn’t returning by saying that she knew “two weeks ago she wasn’t coming back.” Cohen, on the other hand, claimed that he had no idea she made this decision then.
Garcelle Beauvais Makes Shocking Announcement on Instagram
In her Instagram video on March 25, Beauvais revealed she had made the decision to leave Bravo’s popular show.
“Hi guys, I have some news,” she said in the clip. “I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills. It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened and some hard things have happened. But it’s been a ride nevertheless.”
She continued by saying that the reason was because of her family.
“My boys,” she stated.
Beauvais has two teens sons, Jax and Jaid Nilon, who will be entering their last year of high school next year. Plus, her son Jaid was starting a new career as a model and she said she wants to “be there for that.”
However, she could always return at some point after revealing that “Andy Cohen said I can come back any time, the door is always open. So you never know, I might pop back in sometime.”
“It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later,” she concluded. “So, see you later.”
