“Real Housewives of Orange County” star Jennifer Pedranti is finally opening up about the complicated reason why she wasn’t in attendance at Alexis Bellino and John Janssen’s Laguna Beach wedding on October 3, 2025.
Was Jennifer Uninvited From Alexis’ Wedding?
When Emily Simpson suggested that Jennifer was “uninvited,” she responded, “I was invited. And then I was uninvited.”
The real reason had to do with Jennifer’s friendship with fellow housewife Shannon Storms Beador. “Because we weren’t even talking at that point. She had heard that Shannon and I were going through stuff, and I was choosing Shannon over her, and it didn’t feel right for Alexis.”
NBCUniversalDespite this, Jennifer did end up contacting Alexis on her wedding day. “The day she got married I just texted her and said, ‘I’m thinking of you today, and happy for you and John,’” Jennifer said. “And she’s so Alexis. She texts me right back, ‘I wish there was a world where we could be together. Are you free? Can you and Ryan come?’ And I’m like, wait, I think I just got re-invited.”
Shannon’s History With John
Shannon and John ended their relationship after three-and-a-half years in December 2022. Alexis began dating John about a year later.
After only nine months of dating, Alexis and John got engaged in August 2024. In November 2024, Shannon and John finally settled their ongoing lawsuit.
Even though they had history together, Jennifer insisted that Shannon wasn’t the reason she didn’t attend the wedding.
“She didn’t ask me not to go,” Jennifer explained. Instead, she declined the invitation because Shannon “matters” to her.
Jennifer & Alexis’ Friendship Now
However, during the “RHOC” After Show, Jennifer admitted, “Shannon, you know, basically told me that she felt like if I could befriend Alexis, then I wasn’t a friend to her. I’ll tell you, that’s hard. Last year, Alexis was nothing but nice to me.”
“If I see someone acting inappropriately towards another person and I don’t think it’s kind…I don’t wanna be friends with that person,” Shannon explained during the After Show.
“It’s hard. And just where dynamics have gone, I would say I’m closer with Shannon. I see Shannon more,” Jennifer said at the After Show.
Jennifer concluded, “it’s too deep, too much, for Shannon. And I would say right now, the friendship I have with Shannon has moved past the friendship place that I was [in] with Alexis.”
