Kyle Richards shut down a rumor about “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” reunion taping. While answering fan questions during an Amazon Livestream on March 14, the Bravo veteran was asked if it was true that she walked out during the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” season 14 reunion taping in February.
“I don’t even know if I’m allowed to say that,” Richards replied, before confirming the story was untrue. “I did not [walk out]. I did not,” she said. “I read that and I was like, I’m so used to things being said about me.”
I sat there, and I dealt with everything head on,” she added. “I did not walk off. But I hope I don’t get in trouble for saying that.”
Richards admitted she doesn’t know who comes up with stories such as that. “You know, I stayed, I answered my questions,” she continued. “I handled all the things I had been wanting to discuss with the women. And I left there feeling good about it. And not everybody did.”
Richards noted that was all she would say about the reunion. “And there’s some rumors out there that are true and some that are not,” the RHOBH star teased.
A Source Alleged That Kyle Richards Walked Off the Set Twice
BravoReunion walk-offs are nothing new in the Bravo universe. In early March, a report surfaced that Richards walked out of the reunion amid a conversation about her estranged husband, Mauricio Umansky.
“Kyle [Richards] walked off [the reunion set] twice,” an anonymous source claimed to OK! Magazine on March 4. “She was crying half the time. The cast members brought up all the women Mauricio was seeing for years and they were not kind about it. They said Kyle was lying for years and knew for years but kept the lie going for the show.”
Kyle Richards Was Not Looking Forward to the Reunion
BravoRichards has long made it known that she hates reunion day. The sit-down with host Andy Cohen starts early in the morning and usually goes into the night.
Speaking with The Daily Dish just ahead of the reunion taping, Richards admitted, “I can’t believe this is my 14th season and that I’m still alive. There’s probably anywhere I’d rather be than here. I hate to say it, but it’s the truth.”
Richards also noted that she had issues to address with co-stars Sutton Stracke, Garcelle Beauvais, and Bozoma Saint John.
“I really just want to leave here today feeling better than I do now about the women and my relationships with them,” Richards said of her hopes for the reunion.
