Ubah Hassan came full circle at a New York Fashion Week event.
On February 4, the “Real Housewives of New York City” star shared photos from Marc Jacobs’ spring 2025 show in New York, and revealed that it was a moment that was a long time coming for her.
In an Instagram post, Hassan, 41, shared photos of her wearing Jacobs’ white Marilyn Monroe-inspired Fall 2024 runway dress as she attended the 2025 off-schedule show. In her caption, she wrote that as a young model, it was her dream to walk the runway for the famed designer.
“The dream of walking for Marc Jacobs went beyond; it was the moment every established model and new face longed for,” she wrote. “He was and still is the pinnacle—the show that defines New York fashion, pure high fashion. We all prayed just to get a casting. For me, that moment never came. I never walked for Marc Jacobs then.”
“Yet somehow, life has a way of bringing things full circle,” Hassan added. “Now, I get to sit front and center, watching creative genius unfold, and even better—I get to wear it. Some dreams take their time, but when they arrive, they’re just as sweet. A pinch-me moment, always.”
Jacobs’ unofficial “opener” to New York Fashion Week, which officially begins on February 6, took place at the New York Public Library three days prior, according to Vogue. The sneak peek of Jacobs Spring 2025 Ready-to-Wear Collection, titled “Courage,” lasted only six minutes, per WWD.

Hassan’s photos featured her posing at the fashion show with two of her RHONY co-stars Sai De Silva and Jenna Lyons.
De Silva wore a white jacket with oversized buttons and a matching skirt. “This is a character piece, Minnie Mouse fashionista,” De Silva said in an Instagram video that showed her getting ready for the event.
Lyons, who is the former J Crew president and creative director, donned a furry red coat over blue jeans.
The mini reunion ahead of NYFW came just as the RHONY reunion aired on Bravo after a tumultuous season.

GettyHassan is no stranger to the modeling world. She started modeling at age 17 after a fashion photographer noticed her beauty. By 2007 she signed with Click Management in New York, per KA magazine, and within two years she became “the face of Ralph Lauren.”
She has since walked in many fashion shows and posed for brands over the Oscar de la Renta and Gucci, per L’Officiel.
In an interview with The Fashion Spot, she touted the Ralph Lauren campaign as “the best thing that ever happened” to her in her career. “He selected me before anyone even knew me,” she said.
