Even if you’re a reality television star, not everything needs to be blasted out to the world. At least that is what “Selling Sunset” star Chrishell Stause has learned. After very public heartbreaks and splits from Justin Hartley and Jason Oppenheim, she has found lasting love that she chooses to keep a little more private.
Stause met G Flip, an Australian musician, on the set of a music video, and as they say, the rest is history. After a whirlwind romance, a private wedding ceremony, and matching tattoos, according to Us Weekly, the couple is now working on starting a family.
Chrishell Stause Is Proud of Her Life With G Flip
GettyRight from the start, Stause and G Flip treated their relationship as if it were different. By the time they married in May 2023, privacy was one of their top priorities. “It was very untraditional. Elvis was there! So, it was great,” Stause said of the wedding, exclusively to Entertainment Tonight.
“It just really meant a lot for us. And it was… the best day of all time,” Stause shared, adding that the privacy around the wedding was to avoid unwanted, unsolicited feedback. “I just feel like some of those things you don’t want to hear people’s opinions on. It was perfect. It was amazing. It was nice to kind of keep things private and to ourselves so that we could really enjoy it. Then, once we felt ready to share, now it’s exciting because we get to kind of live in it all over again. So, it’s nice.”
The couple also locked in their commitment with matching tattoos of their wedding vows. Chrishell is proud of her relationship and says, “I really wanted to validate our love and really feel like we let people know that this is, you know, this isn’t something silly, [or that] we’re just having fun. We have big plans for each other. And I think that that’s something that, in the scope of the world today, it’s something that I was happy to share, and it’s something that I really am proud about.”
Starting a Family Is Next for Chrishell Stause and G Flip
One of the things that seems to work for this couple is staying candid about their lives, without totally oversharing every detail. It is one of the things that makes Chrishell and G Flip’s relationship somewhat relatable to their fans. Two years after tying the knot, they are now focused on starting a family via adoption.
Chrishell told Us Weekly earlier this spring, “We’ve kept the details a little under wraps, just because I don’t think it helps anybody to go into all the details. But I’ll just say to anyone that understands this [adoption] process — there are just a lot of different roadblocks, and so we do feel like we’re on the upswing.”
“We are feeling really positive about where we’re at currently. And I will tell you this — nobody will be happier to report good news than me when it’s that time. So, until then, I just really feel like everything happens for a reason.”
