“Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test” is earning its title. In season 4, four players have already gone home ahead of episode 4.
The first to go was “The Valley” star, Brittany Cartwright, who struggled to finish a running challenge and self-disqualified.
In the 2nd episode, reality star Eva Marcille was deemed a safety hazard to herself due to moments of panic and was told she wasn’t cut out for the show.
The same day, there was a boxing match between the recruits, and when it came for Gia Giudice’s turn, her mom, Teresa Giudice, couldn’t stand to watch her daughter get hurt, so she left.
Last week, actor Jussie Smollett was medically discharged for issues with his lungs after he couldn’t stop coughing.
The former “Empire” star expressed his disappointment in being sent home, particularly after he wanted to redeem himself to the public following a scandal.
Now, 13 contestants remain, and read on to find out which “Special Forces” season 4 cast member is the next to leave.
The ‘Special Forces’ Recruits Are Tested With Another Height Challenge
FOXIn the fourth episode of โSpecial Forces: Worldโs Toughest Test,โ the recruits are called to attention and told that the next challenge is going to test their mental strength.
Theyโre taken to an area where they need to rappel down 300 feet to safety. Immediately, NBA player Nick Young starts to sweat.
โMaking a leap at height takes nerves of steel. You must control your fear and your descent to get the job done,โ agent Rudy Reyes tells the cameras.
The recruits not only have to conquer the height, but they also have to remember the coordinates that theyโre given.
Young is first to go, and while heโs terrified, he makes his way down. However, he fails to remember his code, so he fails.
Ravi Patel is next to go, and after he rappels down, he remembers his coordinates. Brianna LaPaglia, Johnny Manziel, and Shawn Johnson East all pass.
Shawnโs husband, Andrew East, struggles to get down, and when he makes it, he gets the code wrong by one letter. He’s disappointed in himself, but Shawn comforts him.
Patel Is Brought in Front of the DS
The โSpecial Forcesโ DS are getting tired of Patelโs joking manner and have brought him in for questioning.
โYou spout off way more than you should do in this environment,โ Jason โFoxyโ Fox said. โI never want to be disrespectful. Thatโs not what I want to put out,โ Patel answers. โBut when weโre doing these challenges, I have been dialing it in,โ he adds.
When Fox asks what the hardest thing Patel has ever gone through, the actor shared that he lost his daughter five days after she was born.
The DS empathizes with his tragedy, but Fox thinks Patel should keep on with the show. โThe longer you stay on, the more youโll get from it. But you need to start stepping up,โ he says.
The Recruits Are Given Another Challenging Task
The recruits are split into groups to go through tunnels, find their target, and destroy it with grenades.
Manzielโs team is struggling, and when he canโt find his way out of the tunnel, he self-disqualifies. “My biggest struggles within myself is just giving up at times. You know, losing that battle mentally,” he tells the camera.
“And that’s been something that’s been a weakness for me, for sure. You have to live with the decisions and the actions that you’ve made, and there’s no going back and changing things now,” Manziel said.
After the difficult challenge, the DS brings in Andrew East, who says, “It’s been a roller coaster.” He’s disappointed in himself for not getting the task done.
The DS tells East he should be proud of himself for being a leader, but the NFL star shares that he’s felt like a “failure.”
“It seems to me you’re Mr. Self-Doubt,” Mark “Billy” Billingham said. Foxy told East not to “overthink” things.
“Letting fear cripple you or hold you back is not a good route through life, so I would like the chance to, I guess, fight that dragon,” East said.
