‘General Hospital’ Spoilers for Aug. 25: There’s a Body Floating

Well, based on the brand new spoiler clip, we are in for quite a week in Port Charles! Stella is arrested for insurance fraud, as Ava and Ric fight until she knocks him out, literally, as Kristina looks on. There also appears to be a body floating near the docks. Is it Ric? Or has the congressman finally gotten exactly what he deserves?

Stella Is Arrested for Fraud

Drew has spent months wreaking havoc in Port Charles and it seems that no one is safe from his vengeance. Last week, Stella Henry found herself in his crosshairs when Drew decided to tip off the state of New York about possible insurance fraud. After a visit from agents, Stella admitted to Curtis and Alexis that she had indeed fudged some dates to ensure coverage. The definition of insurance fraud, according to Alexis.

Stella has said that she is ready to face the consequences. Still, when the promo clip begins with officers announcing that she is under arrest, her face says otherwise. Curtis is desperate to help, but can he do anything more than call Alexis?

Blackmail Gone Bad for Ric and Ava

At first, Ric and Ava seemed to get closer while blackmailing Alexis, but all bets are off now. She got jealous because even while sleeping with Ric, Ava watched his chase after Liz like a puppy dog. Now, while at Alexis’ house, and with Kristina’s eyes on her, Ava realizes that Ric has betrayed her. He responds with the truth: she betrayed him first. As Kristina turns to say something, Ava grabs a paperweight and slams Ric in the back of the head. He collapses in a pool of blood as Kristina looks on in shock.

Is There a Body in the Water?

Next, the GH spoiler clip jumps to Rocco and Danny, who are at the docks. They see something in the water, and Danny says, “I think that’s a body.” We then catch glimpses of a concerned Nina, scared Joss, shocked Alexis, and Portia trashing her own office. Did Ava dump Ric? Or could it be the congressman who is floating dead?
