“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Tuesday, September 9, reveal Nick Newman warns Phyllis Summers about Cane Ashby’s latest project.
Kyle Abbott and Claire Newman have difficulty finding common ground. Meanwhile, Mariah Copeland makes a confession.
‘The Young & the Restless’ Spoilers: Mariah Confesses the Truth
CBSOn Tuesday, Tessa and Daniel Romalotti bond over music. The two have nothing but praise for each other as they sing at the park.
Tessa urges Daniel to play the song for Lucy, but he jokes that they sing it at his dad’s wedding instead. Daniel gives all the credit to Tessa for making the song beautiful, just like her.
“You said I was beautiful, thank you, it felt really good to hear someone say that,” Tessa replies. Just then, Mariah shows up and asks to speak with her wife privately.
“The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Mariah tells Tessa she needs to go to a clinic in Boston and will be away for a while.
An angry Tessa demands to know what’s really going on. “You’re already miles away. Why not just trust me to tell me whatever it is you did?”
Mariah blurts out, “I tried to kill a man.”
Nick Asks Phyllis for Help
At the park, Nick and Phyllis talk about Cane and his sinister plan. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say Nick wants to know what Cane is really up to, so he can protect Phyllis when things go south.
Nick asks Phyllis if she knows anything about Cane’s AI tech, adding that he doesn’t want to see her go down the wrong path.
Phyllis insists she’s innocent and that Cane has already pulled the plug on his plans. Nick worries that getting involved in Cane’s scheme will affect Phyllis’ relationship with her kids.
It seems Nick’s concern hits Phyllis hard. “Thank you for saving me from myself,” she tells him.
Then, Nick tells Phyllis they need to save Genoa City together. “Anything Cane shares with you, you share with me,” he adds.
Phyllis promises to keep him in the loop. Later, she calls Cane and curses him out. “Why didn’t you tell me what you were getting me into?” she asks.
‘Y&R’ Spoilers: Claire Needs Time
CBSAlso, on Tuesday, Claire continues to berate Kyle for not being honest with her. “The Young and the Restless” spoilers say she demands to know the truth about his deal with her grandfather.
“I put it in writing that if I did anything to betray you I would pay him five million dollars and leave Genoa City forever,” Kyle confesses.
Claire is conflicted, knowing that Kyle put a price tag on their relationship. However, part of her is blown away by what he’s willing to give up for her.
Kyle wishes none of this had ever happened, but is glad that she now knows the truth. Claire tells him she still needs time and space.
