Meghan Markle Wows American Airlines Crew With Handwritten Note

A touching exchange between Meghan Markle and an American Airlines flight crew has gone viral on social media.

Flight attendant Nina Vida took to TikTok to share that Markle, 43, had been aboard one of her recent flights. The cabin crew, thrilled to be serving the Duchess of Sussex, wrote her a note expressing their appreciation.

To their surprise, Markle responded with a handwritten message of her own—scrawled in elegant script across a cocktail napkin.

The note, posted to the travel Tiktok account @Ninavidavlogs, read, “Dear AA girlies, thank you for the love, hospitality and handwritten note—you know me well,” Markle wrote. “All love right back to you. As ever, Meghan.”

The heartfelt response drew an emotional reaction from Vida, who praised Markle’s penmanship and poise: “This handwriting is giving rich, it’s giving expensive, it’s giving princess.” She added that Markle was “so beautiful in person” and took the time to compliment Vida’s manicure, calling her “so sweet.”

Markle’s note, modest in size but grand in sentiment, isn’t the first time Markle’s handwritten notes have made headlines. As reported in USA Today, she also sent a handwritten message to Amanda Hirsch, host of the popular podcast “Not Skinny But Not Fat,” earlier this year.

Hirsch, who had voiced fears of public criticism surrounding Markle’s new Netflix series With Love Meghan via Instagram, received a message from the Duchess acknowledging her support. “Dear Amanda, I heard you were feeling scared. Don’t be! This is the fun part—let’s enjoy it,” Markle wrote. Hirsch, touched by the gesture, called herself “absolutely flabbergasted and obsessed.”
