“Sister Wives” star Kody Brown may have found his new wife.
In the latest preview for Season 20, Kody hints at the possibility of going back to polygamy after declaring he’s done with it. Not long ago, Kody insisted he “would never try plural marriage again” and that polygamy is “off the table.”
He’s also dedicated himself to Robyn Brown, who is currently his sole wife. But now, it seems his tune is changing.
‘Sister Wives’ Star Kody Brown Still Open to Polygamy?
In the first teaser clip of “Sister Wives” Season 20, Kody tells Robyn someone is interested in becoming his new wife.
“I got another one of those emails from a woman asking sort of like to get to know us for the purpose of joining the family,” he reveals.
While Kody seemingly finds it amusing, Robyn appears upset. Fans took to the comments section and pointed out Robyn’s reaction to possibly having a new sister wife.
One fan wrote, “Notice Robin’s response to someone joining the family. She already got rid of the originals, nobody else is coming in. She ruined the dynamic.”
Another commented, “We’ll see if Robyn is REALLY down for another wife, as she’s ALWAYS claimed she wanted.”
Someone added, “The look on Robyn’s face when he mentions being contacted by someone to join the family. She was not having it. I love it.”
Previously, Robyn admitted she’s not entirely closing the door on polygamy. Though she’s “scared to death” of plural marriage now, she’s still open to it if the right person comes along.
What to Expect in ‘Sister Wives’ Season 20?
Meanwhile, fans can expect to see more drama when “Sister Wives” returns for Season 20. Meri appears happier than ever as she steps back into the dating scene. Christine and David’s marriage is getting stronger. Fans can also expect to see David and Kody hang out, which many find surprising.
As for Janelle, she’s now ready for “spiritual divorce” and even considers a makeover. The sister wives and Kody also deal with some issues involving their Coyote Pass Land.
In April, PEOPLE confirmed through Coconino County property records that the Browns officially sold the land for $1.5 million.
They first acquired the property in 2018, initially to be a large family compound for Kody, Roby, Janelle, Christine, Meri, and his 18 children.
“Sister Wives” Season 20 premieres September 28 on TLC.
