While it might not have always been smooth sailing, HGTV costars Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa are showing the world that you really can be friends after divorce.
In fact, the exes and their significant others now seem to be spending a significant amount of time with each other. Tarek El Moussa put up a picture of he and wife Heather Rae El Moussa on a double date with Christina and her boyfriend, Chris Larocca in a recent Instagram post. In the caption, he wrote, “The girls made us….. 👯♀️”
Christina was quick to comment on the post, writing, “Actually one of my fav couples to double date with… never a dull moment. 🤣”
Heather also weighed in, giving the post some love with “❤️❤️❤️”
And Chris Larocca commented, “Two very lucky guys right there….”
The outdoor table has wine glasses (white for Christina and Heather, red for Chris) and entrees in front of everyone except Christina, who appears to just have a bowl of french fries at her place.
Tarek & Christina Formed Bond During HGTV Show ‘The Flip Off’
Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa’s relationship seems to have continued to improve since they forged a bond competing against one another on the HGTV show “The Flip Off.”
Both Tarek and second wife Heather were a support to Christina as she went through the end of her third marriage to Josh Hall while the show was filming.
Christina and Heather formed a seemingly even stronger bond. Christina now routinely shows up on Heather’s Instagram page promoting Heather’s makeup line, Heather Rae Essentials. In their most recent post together mid-June, the pair are seen wearing matching pink bikinis, posing for pictures by a swimming pool, drinking wine. The pair even apply lip gloss on each other.
The Couples Have Even Vacationed Together
Not only is this not the first time the two couples have double-dated, they’ve even gone on vacation together!
Both Christina and Heather El Moussa posted a series of pictures from their blended Easter vacation. Heather wrote, “Easter in the desert 🌵 with the whole crew — yes, the whole crew!! 🫣Feeling extra grateful for our big, blended, and chaotic family. From egg hunts to pools days, it was a full weekend that we know the kids will remember.🐣🌷🐰— and yes Tay is here too….she doesn’t want to be pictured”
Tarek El Moussa Says Christina Haack Will Marry Again
Christina has said in the past that she’s done with marriage. But she was singing a different tune during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “Radio Andy” alongside boyfriend Chris Larocca.
When one of the hosts said, “No more husbands,” Christina surprised the room, responding, “Okay well… maybe one more.”
In fact, Haack said that the marriage was “so short,” that she hinted she didn’t really even want to acknowledge it. She said, “Actually, you know what? I’m actually identifying as only twice divorced now. It’s official.”
Meanwhile, first ex-husband Tarek El Moussa predicts that another marriage is in Christina’s future. Tarek told US, “At least [one more time]”
Tarek also expressed his approval of Christina’s boyfriend Chris. saying, “I really like him. He’s really nice. Honestly, he just seems like a good guy. She’s going through a really tough situation. And, based on my conversations with her, he’s supportive, he’s guiding, he’s experienced and he is giving her good advice.”
And even though Tarek’s Instagram post indicated that he was forced to go on the double date, he admits, “The double dates are actually fun,”
