Kris Jenner Reveals Determination to Have Kylie & Kendall

Kris Jenner says age was not going to stop her from having her two youngest daughters!

On daughter Khloe Kardashian’s latest podcast, “Khloe in Wonder Land,” Kris Jenner reveals that she had to fight to have her youngest daughters, Kendall, 29 and Kylie, 27. “It was almost whispered about,” Kris told Khloe. “Like, taboo. Like, ‘She’s 40? And she’s going to have a baby? Is she nuts?’”

“And then it was, obviously, safe to have babies at that age. But everybody thought there was also some danger to it,” she went on. “Like, ‘What’s going on? How could she have a baby in her 40s? Aren’t all her eggs gone?’ It was very controversial.”

Kardashians Matriarch Says Getting Pregnant Was a Challenge

69-year-old Jenner had Kendall when she was 40 and Kylie when she was 42 with partner Caitlin Jenner, who was Bruce Jenner at the time. But she says it wasn’t easy.

“I got pregnant right away and then had a miscarriage. But I also had a miscarriage right before Robert was born, so, at a couple months. Right before I got pregnant with Rob, I had a miscarriage, and then I had a miscarriage right before Kendall. So when I got pregnant with Kendall, we were really trying because I thought, ’This isn’t taking me down! I will show my body!’ It’s almost like a challenge to get pregnant.”

The mother of six says she “would do whatever it took to try and get pregnant” at the time. She would even try “all these little old wives’ tales” to get there.

“I was laser-focused,” Kris told Khloe. “And if I read something that said, ‘Drink ice tea,’ or ‘Take Pepto Bismol,’ or ‘have three coffees,’ or whatever somebody’s recommendation was.”

Jenner Says Six Was Her Magic Number

In the podcast, Kris Jenner reveals that it had always been her dream to have six children.

“I would think about it day and night. I had things planned out in my head,” Kris said of when she was growing up. “That was my goal in life, to get married and to be able to raise a family, have six kids and live happily ever after.”

Jenner says she isn’t sure why she settled on the number six. But thinks it has something to do with growing up in the 1950’s. “I don’t know where and when I got inspired, but I was watching ‘Leave It to Beaver’ and ‘I Love Lucy’ and all those shows, and you just saw your future.”

Jenner shares Kourtney Kardashian, 45, Kim Kardashian, 44, Khloe Kardashian, 40 and Rob Kardashian, 37, with the late Robert Kardashian. And she shares Kendall Jenner, 29, and Kylie Jenner, 27, with Caitlin Jenner.
