Lindsay Hubbard has not ruled out joining โThe Real Housewives of New York Cityโย now that producers have issued a casting call for season 16.
Two months after the arrival of her baby daughter, Gemma, the โSummer Houseโ admitted that new motherhood might not be conducive to the Bravo reality show she has starred in since 2017, but she has yet to talk to producers about her status at the network.
During a February 2025 interview on Access Hollywoodโs โHousewivesย Nightcap,โ Hubbard told hosts Lauren Herbert and Emily Orozcoย that a lot of people had brought her the idea of joining RHONY.
โBut I think it’s not up to me,โ she admitted. โIt’s just not up to me, you know, it’s up to the powers that be and I think they need to figure it out. And itโs very flattering and amazing that you know people obviously see something in me that is made for reality TV and want to continue owing me the opportunity to entertain them on whatever platform. So I just need all the powers that be to figure out what platform that is so that I can, you know, move in one direction or another.โ
Lindsay Hubbard Could Be a Good Fit for RHONY
In January 2025, a casting announcement posted on Shed Mediaโs Instagram page put out a call for potential RHONY newcomers for next season. Details posted on Shed Mediaโs Instagram stories noted that the residence parameters for potential cast members were โManhattan and Brooklyn.โ It was also specified that potential cast members should have an โorganic connection to someone on the castโ and should be living โa Bravo lifestyle.โ
On February 4, Rebecca Minkoff announced her departure from RHONY in an Instagram post. The fashion designer was a โfriend ofโ on the show for one season.
With at least one spot open, Hubbard told โHousewives Nightcapโ that casting her would make sense as sheโs friends with RHONY cast member Erin Lichy and knows some of the other women on the cast. โI text with Erin all the time. She’s now pregnant, I really get along with her, we have mutual friends,” Hubbard shared. “And yeah, so I and I’ve met the other girls, you know, in passing whether it was BravoCon or different events throughout the years.โ
Lindsay Hubbard is Open to โAny And Allโ Opportunities
Hubbardโs daughter will be around seven or eight months old when โSummer Houseโ begins filming this summer. The new mom told Entertainment Tonight that she โobviouslyโ wonโt bring her baby to the Hamptons party house. But she teased the potential of filming at home. โWe have the last couple of years we’ve filmed a lot in the city,” she noted.
She also pointed out that sheโs been going to the Hamptons since well before “Summer House” existed and will be โout there a lotโ this summer regardless. โSo you know, not me maybe living in the house with my eight-month-old daughter, but I do think that, you know, we leave a lot of room open for someone who’s in a transitional point in their life,” she shared.
As for jumping to another show such as RHONY, Hubbard said she loves working for Bravo and would do โwhatever makes the most senseโ going forward.
โOf course, if RHONY makes sense for me give me a call,โ she said. โBut I also know that it’s kind of a bigger conversation among the network and my executives. We’re at a point now where I think everything’s on the table and if we can, you know, figure out how to show my transitioning life into motherhood on โSummer Houseโ let’s do it. If there’s other projects that people want to consider me for I’m available.โ
She told โHousewives Nightcap,โ โI’m here for it all. I am here for any and all TV shows because clearly my life just moves at the speed of light, and you need a camera on me because [expletive] just happens, and it makes for good TV.โ
